In Grade 5, we are continuing to sing our play songs and we are making lots of progress with them. The students have been rehearsing and getting prepared for the performance with Mrs. Gambino the last few weeks. We added "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" as our new ukulele song this week.
In Grade 4, we used the xylophones and learned how to play "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic.
In Grade 3, we are getting prepared for our "Stepping Back Day." We are preparing to play a set of recorder songs for our audience as well as three songs that represent Massachusetts.
In Grades K-1, we learned a new singing game called "Here Comes a Bluebird." After this, we worked on xylophones playing "Poison Rhythm."
In Grade 2, we learned a new singing/rhythm game called "Four White Horses." The students worked in groups of four in order to get the hand clapping portion that goes with the singing. Here are some pictures from this week:
