In Grades 4 and 5, we extended our rhythm game from last week. This week, we practiced listening to a rhythm and then writing on the board. We also practiced playing written rhythms on percussion instruments.
In Grade 3, we are practicing for the "Stepping Back Day." We are continuing to sing our songs and play our recorder pieces to get them prepared.
In Grade 2, we are further exploring a game we played way back in September called "Obwisana." This is a great rhythm passing game that also has a song to go along with it.
In Grades K and 1, we learned a new game called "Mouse Mousie." This is a singing circle game and it has a resemblance to "Duck, Duck, Goose," but with a song.
